During the summer months, Rio nell’Elba offers many activities, events and local delicacies can be sampled in the many restaurants and pizzerias. In the town centre you can find bakeries, bars, a chemist, and a very well stocked supermarket is a kilometre and a half away. The nearest hospital and local A&E are in the center of the island, in the municipality of Portoferraio.
